But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
Many times in life we get to a point in our lives where we are tired of waiting. We’re tired of hearing that “a change is gonna come and “it’s not over til God says it’s over.” The truth is, when we get to that point, then at “that point” we’re no longer operating in faith. We’ve allowed our circumstances to dimmer our zeal and great faith in God.
So what do we do when that happens?
That’s what we do. We keep pushing by cancelling out the voices of negativity, pessimism and pity. We remove ourselves from people that are trying to drag us into a pit of despair. We continue to push until we see results. (Pray Until Something Happens.)
Now don’t get me wrong, faith without works is dead, and there will be times when prayer is not enough. (But it is always necessary.) So include your prayers with righteous lifestyle choices and actions. In due season God will move on what He promised you and you will see that the “best” surely has come.
Will you keep pushing until then?
Peace and love.
Then the Lord answered me and said: write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. – Habakkuk 2:2-3
