Everything Happens for a Reason

Coincidence and God will never go hand in hand. Every situation that occurs in your life has already been orchestrated by God. You don’t know when things will happen, but rest in knowing that God knows everything and He’s with you. Nothing happens without God’s approval. So if it happens to you, remember that God wants it to happen.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, In order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified. (Romans 8:28-30)

All things work for your good, no matter if it’s good or bad. Your good is to be conformed into theimage of Christ. Every situation is meant to draw you closer to God and strip you of self. Sometimes we are on a path that we planned and never consulted God about it. God ends up having to show us that He is in control and His plan will prevail.

He already knew the decisions you would make and sometimes He will let you go through the effects of those decisions. He is directing the entire show and you as the lead actor/actress just need to follow the script. Even as you follow Him, obstacles will come your way, but you must keep on going. The reality is that situations happen and you just need to know that looking to God is the best thing to do because He is the orchestrator of your life.

Good things happen. Bad things happen. Then some things happen and you don’t even know how to feel about them. Guess what? They are all working together like a puzzle with a 1,000 pieces that will create a beautiful picture in the end. So much happens, but with patience and obedience you will begin to see everything come together.

I’ve learned to look back at everything that happened up until this point in my life and was able to see how tidbits from each situation I faced in the past has helped me come closer to my purpose. God is so good because although those moments weren’t the greatest at the time, they molded me to become who I am now. I want you to be ask the Lord for eyes to see what He sees in you. Ask Him for courage and a mindset to handle the different phases of life we tend to go through. When you are going through hard times and good times, remember that it’s all working together for a reason!
